The Buckman Coulee Drainageway Diversion Project, phase 2, will move forward with the Contractors intent to start the contract on September 16, 2013. This is a project update due to some previous delays. The Highway 63 & Highway 60 intersection at Zumbro Falls will be closed to thru traffic, violators may be fined. A detour map is posted. The anticipated re-opening of the intersection is October 8, 2013. Phase 1 of this project was completed in the summer of 2012. The project will re-route water drainage in order to aid in flood control as well as repairing and improving the intersection.
